  • Proficiency in using measurement and alignment tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote or field environments.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site line boring operations to repair worn or misaligned bores in heavy equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks, backhoes, and other construction machinery.
  • Conduct bore welding and machining processes to restore damaged bores to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
  • Set up, align, and operate portable hydraulic or electric line boring machines and related tooling.
  • Carry out precision measurements using micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and laser alignment tools to ensure accurate bore alignment and tolerances.
  • Interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
  • Perform journal turning, flange facing, and related machining activities when required.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with engineering standards and safety procedures.
  • Maintain and inspect line boring equipment, tools, and accessories to ensure reliability and operational readiness.
  • Work closely with mechanics, welders, and maintenance teams to coordinate repair activities.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for completed repair works.
  • Adhere to HSE regulations and site safety standards while operating machinery and performing repairs in workshop and field environments.
