Description
About KEPSA

The Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) is the apex body of the private sector in Kenya, established to drive economic development through year-on-year improvements in the business environment by addressing cross-cutting business issues, attracting investment, and tackling socio-economic challenges in partnership with others. KEPSA brings together business associations, corporate bodies, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and start-ups to speak in one voice, working closely with the Government and other stakeholders through structured Public-Private Dialogue (PPD) platforms and other engagement mechanisms.

SMEs play a key role in Kenya, contributing 33.8% of GDP, providing over 80% of employment opportunities, and comprising over 90% of businesses in the country. We collaborate with development partners, financial institutions, the private sector, and local business associations to deliver tailored financial solutions and mentorship programs that foster sustainable development. We aim to create a supportive ecosystem for SMEs by offering capacity-building initiatives, linking them to funding and markets, promoting innovation, and addressing policy issues to help them advance economically through opportunities such as the Jiinue Growth Program.

Through the Jiinue Growth Program (JGP), KEPSA supports the growth and sustainability of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through business development services, access to finance, capacity building, and market linkages.

KEPSA seeks to engage Lead County Assistants to oversee field implementation, coordinate field assistants, and support quality assurance for mobilization, verification, training, and monitoring across any of the following assigned counties: Kiambu, Tana River, Kwale, Nyamira, Migori, Vihiga, Bomet, Homa Bay, Busia, and Baring’o.
