Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensures hotel policies, safety, health, and hygiene standards are met through routine inspections.
- Monitors stock levels and initiates replenishment for supplies.
- Coordinates procurement and prepares operational reports on occupancy, sales, and feedback.
- Manages hotel revenue, costs, and profitability improvement measures.
- Oversees maintenance of facilities and equipment, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Supervises cash handling, billing, and revenue reconciliation with the finance department.
- Coordinates events like conferences and banquets to ensure successful execution.
- Supports staff recruitment, training, performance management, and compliance with licensing standards.
- Promotes hotel products and services to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Investigates operational incidents, guest complaints, and service failures, recommending corrective actions.
- Ensures security of guests, staff, and property by enforcing security procedures.
- Performs additional duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, Tourism Management, or related field from a recognized institution.
- At least three years of hotel operations experience, including one year in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
