Qualifications

  1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education -K.C.S.E., grade C or above or its equivalent with passes in the relevant subjects.
  2. Diploma in physiotherapy from a recognized institution
  3. Certificate in computer supplication skills from a recognized institution
  4. Certificate of registration from the physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK)
  5. Current certificate of practice from Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK)
  6. At least 3 years of experience in a busy physiotherapy department.

Responsibilities
  1. Providing physiotherapy services to patients in an outpatient unit/ ward/health institution
  2. Assessing patients’ needs including rehabilitation
  3. Colleting, Verifying and maintaining information related to patients
  4. Screening, assessing and providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy and hydrotherapy as per the patients/clients formulated treatment plan
  5. Sensitizing the community on physiotherapy services
  6. Preparing periodic reports
