JOB PURPOSE
You will be responsible for the accurate oral and written translation of documents and emails in Chinese and English, and attending meetings in which live translations are needed. You should translate information that is contextually accurate in both English and Chinese Language.
You will be reporting to the Factory Manager.

You will be responsible for the accurate oral and written translation of documents and emails in Chinese and English, and attending meetings in which live translations are needed. You should translate information that is contextually accurate in both English and Chinese Language.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend meetings to translate discussions
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that translations are true to the original meaning
- Ensure materials are grammatically and idiomatically correct
- Translate materials in the designated language into proper English/Chinese
- Responsible for identified process documentation needed at the phone assembly plant, e.g documenting manuals, working procedures, and any other required documents
- Other tasks assigned by the manager
EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS & COMPETENCIES/ LICENCES & CERTIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION REQUIRED
- Education: Degree in a related field
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role as a Chinese mandarin translator
- Tendency to pay close attention to small details
- Good documentation practices
- Have good presentation, organizing, and teamwork
- Skillful in the use of computer software and Microsoft Office Packages,
- Have excellent knowledge and perfect command of both Chinese and English
- Have a high level of fluency in Chinese and English
