County Chief Officer - Finance

Requirements for Appointment:

For appointment to this position the person should be;

1. A Kenyan Citizen
   
2. Have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university in Kenya
   
3. Possession of Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
   
4. Must be a member of a professional body relevant to the position applied for and in good standing
   
5. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
   
6. Have knowledge and experience of not less than 5-years in the relevant field, 3 of which should be in a managerial position to the portfolio one is seeking to be considered for appointment
   
7. Be conversant with the Constitution of Kenya and Devolution related legislations
   
8. Demonstrate thorough understanding of County development plans
   
9. Have ability to build a strong team
   
10. Must be computer literate
    
11. Have the ability to work in multi-cultural and diverse environment

1. Administration of County Department.
   
2. Formulation and implementation of programs to attain Vision 2030 and Departmental goals.
   
3. Implementation of policies and regulations.
   
4. Development and implementation of strategic plans and departmental development plans.
   
5. Providing strategic policy direction for effective service delivery.
   
6. Ensuring compliance with National Values and Principles of Good Governance
