Our Client, a well-established real estate company in Kenya is seeking to hire a Property Manager - Property Management & Business Growth. The jobholder will be tasked in providing leadership to the property management team (sales & Operations) in growing the business portfolio to achieve the company’s objectives for property management, while applying best practices in performance management, motivation, mentorship, and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business related studies.
- Minimum of 5 years working in property sales function, with direct work in managing a sales team and property marketing.
- Proven experience of managing relationships with key clients
- Commercial awareness of the real estate sector, partnered with a strategic mindset
- People management.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Able to efficiently and effectively handle multiple priorities.
- Conflict resolution management.
- Ability to understand risk and appropriate mitigation strategies

Financial - 70%
- Revenue – Develop and drive a strategic revenue generation plan to support the financial sustainability of the property management segment to achieve the set monthly target.
- Drive and monitor staff performance in growing property Sales, Lettings and Property Management
- Train the sales staff on customer service, product knowledge, sales, leads management and other aspects of sales.
- Ensure a seamless service is offered to clients, resolving property issues within the agreed timelines.
- Co-ordinating the assessment, planning and execution of property needs with respective departments and service providers. i.e property improvements / facelifts, maintenance etc.
- Manage client relations for business value from the existing property management portfolio.
- Market Intelligence - Undertaking market research and analysis to advise the business on emerging trends and opportunities.
- Make sales presentations to corporates, individuals and institutions.
- Attend contractual meetings with client and with other relevant authorities as required.
- Support the bidding team in related bids.
Customer – 30%
- Customer focus – Develop and maintain the generation of new business through building a customer base who utilize the company products and services and to increase revenue in property sales, management, and lettings in line with the company strategy.
- Ensure professionalism and integrity is adhered to by the team throughout the entire cycle of a business transaction.
- Maintain good client relationships through deliberate search for customer feedback for improved service delivery
- Conducting due diligence on potential clients and partners and recommending to the company.
Leadership & Culture - 10%
- To actively provide leadership by contributing to Company's collective leadership agenda and sharing business incites and feedback to maximize the financial performance of the department
- Oversee the preparation and review of annual sales and marketing budgets and quarterly forecasts preparation, monitoring and reporting
- Drive a performance culture within the business teams.
