Requirements
- Must have a Higher Diploma in Electrical engineering
- 2 Years of experience
- Experience in use of SCADA systems for power system operations would be an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
- Customer relations skills
- Computer skills
Responsibilities
1. Supervision of real time demand and supply balance (system frequency kept within +/-1% of nominal).
2. System voltages maintained within +/-10% of nominal.
3. Implementing planned outages and management of forced outages, including operational safety.
4. Compilation of outages statistics.
- 5. Optimal dispatch of available generation from cascaded hydropower plants.
