  • We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to help drive financial excellence across our business.
  • As we continue expanding our footprint, we’re seeking a finance professional who can bring precision, insight, and leadership to our team.
  • Accounting experience required

Responsibilities
  • Ensure integrity of financial transactions and compliance with all relevant policies, guidelines and procedures for all corporate financial reporting.
  • Collaborating with the Finance Manager to develop detailed and cost-effective annual budgets for VAAL Real Estate.
  • Enter all transactions relating to company operations onto the finance system in a timely manner.
  • Performing senior accounting duties for the organization.
  • Reconcile all company balance sheet accounts, trial balance and income statements every month.
  • Preparing cost analysis by interpreting VAAL Real Estate financial data and information.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, strategies and plans.
  • Reconciliation of account payables and receivables on a timely basis.
  • Post payments and receipts on a daily basis.
  • Validation and verification of payments for accuracy and accountability.
  • Reconcile bank account statements on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for corporate costing and contractual accounts.
  • Timely submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Finance Manager.
  • Undertake such other financial management responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
