📢 Job Opening: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: Onsite – Nairobi, Kenya


Compensation: Base salary + commission


Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Kenya time (aligned with U.S. Eastern Time, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. EST)

Overview

The SDR is a customer-facing, revenue-generating role responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound prospecting. This position requires high energy, resilience, and competitiveness, with a focus on high-volume calling and pipeline generation for Account Executives.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct 100+ outbound calls per day via phone, email, and sequences.

  • Engage prospects, ask qualifying questions, and assess fit and interest.

  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives.

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline through consistent outbound activity.

  • Represent the company professionally and build rapport quickly.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve outreach performance.

Key Success Drivers

  • Strong English communication skills (critical).

  • 2 years of sales experience (preferably in a call center/BPO)

  • Proven success in metrics-driven environments.

  • Demonstrated past performance vs peers (quota attainment, KPIs, rankings).

  • High energy, resilience, and competitiveness.

  • Stable work history (tenure preferred).

  • Ability to quickly build trust and adapt messaging.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience as SDR, BDR, inside sales, or outbound sales.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).

  • Comfortable handling high daily activity metrics.
