Description
To plan, develop, direct and disseminate communications across all channels and audiences for the group;
to manage and provide client-side direction to the group's communications agencies; to own the digital
and social media presence of the group's operating companies; and to support the planning and execution
of corporate events while ensuring consistency of voice, quality of output, narrative coherence, and
timeliness of delivery across the group.


Qualification & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

A postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations or

integrated communications

• Demonstrated experience managing communications and PR agencies as a client-side

counterpart, including briefing, scope management, quality control and performance oversight.

• Demonstrated experience managing digital and social media for a corporate brand, including

platform analytics and reputation monitoring.

• Hands-on event management experience, including high-profile corporate or government-facing

events.

• Experience working with both local and international PR agencies is required.


Skills & Competencies:

• Outstanding written and verbal communication in English; ability to write across registers from

regulatory submissions to social posts.

• Sharp news sense and instinctive understanding of audience, channel and timing.

• Strong project and event management discipline; able to manage multiple workstreams

concurrently under deadline pressure.

• Comfortable working with senior leadership and capable of producing executive-grade outputs

with minimal rework.

• Calm, composed and reliable under crisis or high-stakes conditions.

• Strong client-side agency management skills; able to brief, direct, review and hold agencies

accountable to scope and quality.

• Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information.

• Strong digital and analytics fluency, including platform-native content thinking and performance

measurement
