About Fuzu
Through our AI Powered Job Connections Program, Fuzu is implementing a two-year initiative designed to connect financially disadvantaged youth in Kenya—particularly young women, persons with disabilities, and refugees—to dignified and fulfilling work opportunities. By combining AI-powered job matching, personalized career coaching, targeted skilling, and light-touch employer engagement, the program removes systemic barriers to employment and supports thousands of young people in accessing sustainable income and long-term career pathways.
About the role
Responsibilities
1) End-to-end delivery leadership (digital + program)
Own the integrated delivery plan across workstreams: platform, employer acquisition, youth onboarding/support, learning pathways, content, safeguarding, MEL, and finance.
Translate program objectives into work plans, sprint cycles (where relevant), and delivery milestones.
Maintain a single view of progress, dependencies, risks, and decisions across teams.
2) Digital product & operations coordination
Work with Platform Design/Support and engineering to prioritize features that enable: participant onboarding, job matching, safe communications, data capture, and reporting.
Run/coordinate agile ceremonies as appropriate (backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, retros) while ensuring non-technical teams remain aligned.
Ensure user feedback (youth and employers) is captured and converted into actionable product/ops improvements.
3) Stakeholder and partner management
Coordinate engagement with program partners (referral organizations, learning providers, ecosystem actors) and ensure roles, workflows, and SLAs are clear.
Convene operational check-ins and governance touchpoints and track actions to closure.
4) Performance management, MEL alignment, and reporting readiness
Ensure each workstream has measurable outputs and KPIs aligned to the Program’s results framework.
Coordinate with MEL/Data to ensure instrumentation is in place (data fields, dashboards, survey plans) and that reporting is accurate and timely.
Establish a delivery cadence for weekly/monthly reviews using data to make decisions.
5) Safeguarding, quality, and risk management
Ensure safeguarding is operationalized across digital channels, content, and opportunity verification (escalation pathways, incident handling, staff training).
Lead the program risk register and mitigation actions, including marketplace integrity risks (scams, exploitation, unsafe postings).
Drive quality assurance standards for participant experience and employer engagement.
6) Budget coordination and value-for-money support
Coordinate with the Financial Specialist and Finance Manager to align activities with budgets, forecasts, and burn rate.
Support procurement planning and ensure spend supports the most effective delivery pathways.

Operational cadence and governance rhythm (weekly execution reviews; monthly performance reviews).

Qualifications & experience
