Description

The job holder will be responsible for developing effective sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitionof goodsand services, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring compliancewithcompany policies and regulatory requirements while supporting overall businessobjectives.

Expected Skills, Competencies & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in procurement, with at least 1 years in a managerial procurement role preferably in a manufacturing setup .
  • Membership with CIPS or KISM will be an added advantage
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good analytical and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Be proficient in Ms Excel and have Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. Quick-books). Available immediately

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies for various departments. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value productsinclude cartons ,Homopolymer , woven bags , PE bags , PE Breathable film.
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and ethical standards
  • Coordinate with finance, stores, and user departments.
