Description
About You
To be successful in this role, you would need:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree holder in a business-related field
- Diploma in sales and marketing is an added advantage
- 2 years’ Experience in agricultural machinery sales with notable sales record
- Customer service training will be an added advantage
- Strong Customer focus
- Valid Driving License
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail essential
- Ability to meet deadlines and to work autonomously and as part of a team
Responsibilities
SALES AND CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
- Achieve monthly tractor sales targets.
- Prepare and update daily sales and prospect reports using the sales tracker.
- Attend regular sales meetings and provide updates on leads and prospects.
- Collaborate with team members, offering support as needed.
- Follow up with customers within 3 days of tractor delivery to ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct a secondary follow-up one month post-delivery to resolve concerns.
- Identify new prospects via cold-calling, networking, and referrals.
- Respond promptly to leads from New Holland marketing, social media, and website.
- Conduct machinery walkarounds and field demonstrations, especially for high-potential customers.
- Stay informed about New Holland tractors, implements, and competitor products.
- Monitor available stock and coordinate with inventory planning.
- Adhere to sales processes, including documentation, inventory handling, and safety protocols.
SHOWROOM MANAGEMENT
- Ensure the tractor showroom is clean, organized, and aligned with New Holland branding.
- Display a comprehensive range of available tractor models and implements.
- Maintain customer-facing materials (brochures, spec sheets, signage) in professional order.
PRE-DELIVERY & DOCUMENTATION
- Coordinate Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and ensure all documentation is complete before handover.
- Comply with Inchcape and New Holland dress codes and customer service standards.
OTHER DUTIES
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management related to sales, customer engagement.
