Description
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Dairy Technology, dairy management or a related field. A Bachelor's Degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in dairy production, milk grading, or quality control. Familiarity with dairy standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- The milk grader will be responsible for the daily grading, weighing and recording of farmers' milk.
- The milk grader shall act as a communication agent between the farmers and Ol kalou dairy.
- The milk grader is expected to take care of all equipment provided by the dairy.
- The milk grader shall be in charge of vehicle control during milk collection.
- The milk grader will supervise the milk transporters or loaders along the route while grading and collecting milk.
- The milk grader and the transporter shall ensure safety of the already collected milk and be responsible for the quantity and quality of the milk delivered to the plant.
- The milk grader shall participate in milk mobilization and training farmers on trading high quality milk
- The milk grader shall deliver farm inputs requested by farmers.
- The milk grader shall portray a good image of the company to farmers and other stake holders.
