- A minimum period of twelve (12) years relevant work experience, five (5) years of which should be in a supervisory position;
Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Commerce (Finance or Accounting Option), Business Administration (Finance or Accounting Option), Business Management (Finance or Accounting Option) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Masters degree in any of the following disciplines: - Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution Certified Public Accountant (CPA (K)) or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK);
Certificate in a Management Course lasting note less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution; Proficiency in computer applications;
Demonstrated professional competence in financial and accounting management; and
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
