- A minimum period of twelve (12) years relevant work experience, five (5) years of which should be in a supervisory position;
Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (Finance/Accounting option) Economics, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
Masters degree in any of the following disciplines: - Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (Finance/Accounting option) Economics, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution Passed Part III of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Kenya examination or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); System Auditor (CISA); Certificate in Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
A registered member of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) (Kenya Chapter) or any other a relevant professional body;
Proficiency in Computer application skills; and
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
Fulfilled the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
