Qualifications, experience and skills requirements:
· Business-related Diploma or Certification.
· Membership to the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) or Chartered Institute of Logistics (CILT) or Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) will be an added advantage.
· At least one year of work experience in a inventory handling
· Ability to work in a team, has initiative and is proactive
· Excellent customer service skills and customer focus,
· Excellent interpersonal/ communication skills
· Ability to lift heavy boxes, climb and bend.
· Knowledge of warehousing/stocking
· Ensure that correct quantities and item description indicated on the issue note corresponds with physical stocks issued by the stock controllers.
· Verify the number of packages being dispatched against the waybill raised for outreach requests.
· Raise waybill with logistics providers for the outreach dispatches.
· Ensure that parcels are well packed and labeled before they are handed over to transport providers.
· Ensure that stocks are delivered to end users in the shortest time possible.
· Contact the users (outreach centres) to acknowledge the about what have been dispatched from the main stores.
· Tracking any late deliveries or misroutes that may occur in connection with the transport service providers.
· Daily preparation of distribution of checklist report
· Work in harmony with stock controllers and the outreach administration for effective distribution of materials in the centres.
· Ensure that emergency issues in the hospital are urgently delivered.
· Ensure all calls too the issue bay extension are answered in good time.
· Ensure all items sent by courier are weighed and records kept.
· Share records of weight with contract and services team weekly
· Track waiting time of users coming to the issue bay directly and provide a daily report.
· Review delivery schedules to ensure even distribution of workload and bring about efficiency.
