- The person will be in charge of the below responsibilities
Sorting articles for cleaning according to the type, colour, fabric and cleaning treatment required
Checking and removing stains from garments
Identify garments for button replacement and minor repairs
Follow through the process best suited.
Maintain daily, weekly and monthly controls of machinery.
Unload diligently and forward to next process for finishing and sorting.
Keep the work station clean.
Qualifications
Appointment to the position will be made from persons who have:
Certificate course in Laundry, Housekeeping or Institutional Management from a recognized institution.
25 to 30 years of age
Five (5) years experience as laundry operator in an established laundry.
Must be able to also operate laundry press and mannequin.
Must have textile knowledge.
