We are looking for qualified Sales Account Managers to join our team whose objective is to build our business by building successful, long-term client relationships. They will be responsible for managing accounts, ensuring clients always have a positive customer experience and continuously generating new sales opportunities.

Job Brief

We are looking for qualified Sales Account Managers to join our team whose objective is to build our business by building successful, long-term client relationships. They will be responsible for managing accounts, ensuring clients always have a positive customer experience and continuously generating new sales opportunities.


  • Create and develop long term relationships with clients, with great focus on acquiring the best accounts in allocated regions within East Africa.

  • Independent planning and executing of sales drives, telemarketing and other sales promotion activities.

  • Sales analysis and implementation of activity & marketing plans in order to develop, control and optimize strategies for client acquisition.

  • Developing annual business plan for assigned clients to ensure that the plan is achievable, and regularly conduct periodic business review with and for clients

  • Developing and maintaining strong business relationship with clients in order to gain strong collaboration in mutually driving business objectives and to get a better position in negotiating for the agreement and business development plans

  • Monitoring hotel/segment performance against market including competition, evaluating the effectiveness of promotions, activities, and takes corrective action, as needed to ensure achievement of sales and marketing goals

  • Planning sales forecast in details for all segments to ensure accuracy is attained

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or a related role with strong knack for networking and building lasting relationship

  • Excellent record on performance

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)

  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet targets

  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
