Requirements

  • First Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline from a reputable university.
  • A Master's degree (MBA, MSc. in Finance, Strategy, or Management) is strongly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA are an added advantage.

Cognate Experience

  • Minimum of 6–8 years of relevant experience in strategy, research, investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Demonstrable experience in strategy development and research (market, financial, or economic research).
  • Experience working in or with financial services (banking, asset management, securities) and/or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience as a Technical Assistant, or Strategy Analyst in a fast-paced, multi-entity organization is an advantage.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth market research (trends, competition, opportunities) across banking, finance, and manufacturing sectors.

  • Prepare strategic briefs, memos, and presentations to support GMD’s decision-making on investments and expansion.

  • Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, and industry changes affecting Group entities.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams on strategic projects (including acquisitions, divestments, and transactions), reviewing proposals and business cases.

  • Manage information flow between GMD and heads of all Group entities; prepare meeting agendas and track action items.

  • Draft high-level correspondence and reports; liaise with regulators, investors, and stakeholders as directed.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions to improve efficiency across the Group.
