Description
The intern will support the team in the furtherance of its communication and outreach work. Tasks to be undertaken under the supervision of substantive experts will include:
- Support the development of in-house meeting coverage of the Secretariat's annual meetings.
- Support the development of global communication campaigns to mark World Ozone Day and the 10th anniversary of the Kigali Amendment.
- Support meetings taking place during the internship period by providing communications, branding and logistical assistance, specifically the Meeting of the Parties (November).
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); in environmental sciences, communications studies, or a related field;
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme in environmental sciences, communications studies, or a related field (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
- Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. Programme. Do you meet any of the above criteria?

- Applicants should have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
