• Ensuring that the doctor the patient is seeing is in network with each patient’s insurance

• Verifies patient insurance coverage via phone or online for home health visits/office visits

• Communicates with physician offices, insurance carriers, and patients to obtain the most current and updated insurance or referral information

• Clearly document detailed insurance benefits in the patient’s chart

• Answer patient-specific questions for insurance for other clinic or Patient Services teams
