  • DreamCity Group, a prominent real estate and property construction industry, is currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Store Keeper to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's inventory, ensuring efficient stock control and management, conducting audits of materials usage by site engineers on the construction site, and reporting daily stock positionsto the accountant at the Head Office.
  • This role requires a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a similar position, along with relevant educational qualifications and proficiency in Excel office tools.

Duties

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, receipts, and issuances.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders.
  • Organize and arrange stock in a systematic manner, ensuring efficient utilization of storage space.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish inventory as needed.
  • Implement and maintain proper stock control systems, including FIFO (First In, First Out) and stock rotation.
  • Audit materials usage by site engineers on the construction site to ensure proper allocation and minimize wastage.
  • Collaborate with site engineers and project managers to forecast material requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Report daily stock positions to the accountant at the Head Office for accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports, highlighting trends and recommending improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse or storage area.
