Qualifications

  • Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience, including at least 10 years in senior executive or leadership roles within the industrial gases, manufacturing, or energy sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
  • MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong professional network within Oil & Gas, FMCG, Energy, Chemical & Allied Manufacturing, or regulatory sectors will be an advantage.
  • Deep understanding of gas production processes, plant operations, quality control, and safety standards.


Responsibilities
  • Develop, communicate, and execute the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including market expansion, new product development, and diversification.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Executive Management Team, fostering a high-performance culture anchored on innovation, accountability, and integrity.
  • Represent the company at industry associations, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholder forums to enhance corporate visibility and influence.
  • Oversee the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and optimal resource allocation.
  • Provide executive oversight for core operations production, distribution, and quality assurance of industrial and medical gases.
  • Drive efficiency, profitability, and return on investment through effective cost management and process optimization.
  • Ensure robust risk management practices are in place to identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
  • Oversee major investments, partnerships, and capital expenditure projects to support strategic objectives.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all statutory, environmental, health, and safety standards governing the production and distribution of gases.
  • Maintain proactive engagement with regulators such as ISO, SON, NAFDAC, and HSE authorities.
