Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Animal Production, or related field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Experience in ISO/FSSC food safety systems is an added advantage.
  • Poultry industry experience is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS), GMP, and HACCP programmes across operations.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, sampling, and product release checks throughout the production process.
  • Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Track and analyse operational quality KPIs and performance indicators.
  • Manage non-conformance reporting and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Verify that hygiene, sanitation, and biosecurity measures are implemented.
  • Ensure calibration and verification of measurement equipment.
  • Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and certification requirements.
  • Train staff on GMP, hygiene, and food safety practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
