Description

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets for our paving blocks and other related products and services.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new clients within the B2B, B2C and B2G market segments for our products and services.

  • Conduct sales presentations and pitches highlighting the durability, affordability, and environmental benefits of Gjenge paving blocks and other related products.

  • Prepare quotations and negotiate terms to successfully close deals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights.

  • Work closely with the production and inventory team to ensure timely delivery of client orders.

  • Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales reports to management.

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Represent Gjenge Makers at trade shows, exhibitions, and community events.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing.

  • 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in construction materials, building products, or related industries.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and resilient in the face of challenges. Ideally a go getter.

  • Knowledge of the Kenyan construction market is an added advantage.

  • Results driven and market savvy.

  • Professional, trustworthy, and reliable.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.

  • Quick learner with problem-solving ability.

  • Confident and persuasive with a customer-first approach.

  • Digital Marketing is an added advantage.
