Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
  • 2–5 years of open-market sales experience, preferably in adhesives, coatings, or industrial materials.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical / Functional

  • Basic knowledge of adhesive applications and customer use cases (or strong learning agility)
  • Sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting


Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve assigned sales targets (volume, revenue, and margin) for the adhesives product range.
  • Identify, develop, and convert new customers and market opportunities across relevant industries
  • Execute sales plans aligned with unit and company growth objectives.
  • Grow wallet share within existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling.

Customer & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and decision-makers.
  • Understand customer processes, applications, and pain points to recommend appropriate adhesive solutions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order follow-up to ensure timely conversion.

Product & Technical Support (Commercial Interface)

  • Develop strong working knowledge of Cormart’s adhesives portfolio, applications, and competitive positioning.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback, market intelligence, and product performance insights.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing dynamics, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline updates using approved CRM or reporting tools.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, opportunity pipelines, and account updates for review.
