Contract Type

Description
The successful candidate will engage with a broad range of healthcare professionals—including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, front shop staff, clinic personnel, and others—to ensure that our client’s products meet the needs of patients and providers. The role requires regular travel within the region and a strong commitment to representing the organisation with professionalism and integrity.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical, Paramedical, or FMCG-related fields.

Experience

  • 1–3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, OTC, or FMCG sales with a solid understanding of pharmacy operations.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets within field‑based roles.

Responsibilities

Sales & Promotion

  • Promote and sell a portfolio of leading consumer health and OTC products, consistently meeting sales targets and performance objectives.
  • Drive expert recommendation through effective detailing and execution of the “6 Steps of a Call” model.

Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong, long‑standing relationships within the pharmacy channel to maximise business opportunities and strengthen brand presence.

Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market assessments to identify opportunities, track competitor activities, and recommend strategies aligned to business objectives.

Product Knowledge & Training

  • Maintain a deep understanding of product indications, benefits, contraindications, and clinical data.
  • Conduct in‑store training and Lunch & Learn sessions (minimum six per month) to enhance product understanding and advocacy.

In‑Store Execution & Merchandising

  • Coordinate and guide 3rd‑party merchandising teams to ensure excellent execution, visibility, and availability.
  • Negotiate for optimal share of shelf (SoS) and forward share, aligned to market share expectations.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Submit accurate and timely reports on sales activity, market insights, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure complete compliance with CRM and digital reporting tools (e.g., FSFA, Veeva) and adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and internal policy guidelines.
