Requirements For Appointment

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen;
  • Be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from a university recognized in Kenya or its equivalent;

  • Have proven experience of not less than ten (10) years in administration or management either in the public or private sector;

  • Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya;

  • A post graduate qualification in urban planning and development from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Constitution of Kenya 2010, County Government Act of 2012, Urban areas and Cities Act 2011;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate a thorough understanding of socio-economic dynamics of the county;

  • Must be computer literate
