Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Paralegal to join our Property Tax Litigation practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organized, process-driven legal work and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll support the team by handling standardized legal tasks using established templates and SOPs, helping ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely filings across all matters.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Central Time)
  • One-hour lunch break
Qualifications & Skills
  • 1+ year of experience as a Paralegal or in a legal support role within a U.S. law firm
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
  • Comfort working with templated legal documents and structured workflows
  • Proven ability to manage volume-driven work and meet deadlines
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Reliable, organized, and able to follow established processes consistently

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review property tax petitions and related legal documents using approved templates
  • Verify accuracy of party information, case details, and filing data
  • Manage a high volume of cases while meeting strict statutory deadlines
  • Assist with discovery preparation and responses following standardized processes
  • Follow internal SOPs and workflows with consistency and attention to detail
  • Upload, organize, and maintain case files in the firm’s case management system
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on document review, finalization, and filing
  • Proactively escalate issues, errors, or potential deadline risks when identified
