We are an upcoming publishing company in Nairobi is seeking two (2) ambitious highly driven and passionate advertising sales executives to join the sales team to sell advertising space in a professional associations’ magazine. The duo should be keen to progress and grow with the company.
Your main role will be to achieve sales targets and increase revenue across a range ofprojects. You will be selling advertising across a mix of print and digital platforms – via phone, email and face-to-face. You will work with new and existing sales leads and develop these relationships and secure increased advertising spend.
Dependent on your experience, you will be responsible for your own projects, making sure targets are met, identifying new growth opportunities for your print and digital platforms and managing effective relationships with clients, advertisers, agencies, publishers and designers.
There is no better feeling than seeing your finished publication, with your name inside, knowing that the sales target had been achieved, the client and advertisers are happy, the content looks great and the audience can look forward to an engaging read!
The candidates will need to demonstrate:

• Focus on growing existing accounts and acquiring new clients.
• Make sales presentations.
• Sell general or direct response print ads to periodic publications.
• Generate and describe creative, results-focused marketing concepts to a diverse
• Handle incoming inquiries to buy ad space.
• Book sales appointments.
• Present sample ads to the client.
REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, Advertising, Business
management or Communication from a recognized learning institution.
• B2B telephone sales with at least 1-2 years working experience required
