Requirements
- First Degree in any business or technology related discipline
- Fluent in English
- CBCI/AMBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer is desirable.
Experience:
- 3-7 years relevant experience in BCM, operational resilience, operational risk, crisis management related field/specialization
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience working in a medium-large organization
- Practical BCM experience with strong understanding of telecoms processes, disaster recovery, RTO/RPO, recovery strategy development and incident response coordination
Responsibilities
- Assess, develop and deliver BCM training and awareness on methodologies, tools, roles and responsibilities; maintain training materials; assess organisational training needs; and recommend training interventions to the Senior Manager, BCM.
- Develop, plan and coordinate end-to-end execution of BCM exercises, tabletop simulations and plan tests with business process owners, recovery teams and relevant support functions; develop scenarios, facilitate sessions, document outcomes, conduct after-action reviews, track corrective actions and ensure plan updates reflect lessons learned.
- Oversee BCM tools, data repositories and documentation controls; maintain end-user support materials; ensure quality of master data and metadata; and coordinate controlled access to sensitive business process information, recovery plans, evidence and BCM records.
- Prepare BCM governance reports, dashboards, BRC/Board Audit Committee inputs and management review materials for review and approval by the Senior Manager, BCM.
- Coordinate day-to-day BCM programme activities, follow up deliverables across business units and BCM workstreams, maintain documentation and evidence records, and escalate delivery risks or quality issues to the Senior Manager, BCM.
- Provide functional guidance, coaching and knowledge transfer to BCM champions, recovery teams, contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding of BCM standards, targets, deliverables and escalation requirements.
- Coordinate with the Operational Risk Management team to align BCM risk assessments, continuity KRIs, incident/loss-event learnings, emerging risk reporting and scenario analysis without duplicating or subsuming BCM deliverables.
- Ensure continuity risks are captured in relevant risk registers while preserving BCM-specific concepts such as BIA, criticality, MTPD, RTO, RPO, recovery strategies, plan ownership, test evidence and resilience readiness.
