Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or any related field.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.

  • Proven experience in mobile technology.

  • Microsoft and/or Cisco certification are desirable.

  • Demonstrate progressive experience and responsibilities as an IT professional.

Responsibilities
  • Handle staff IT support requests and assist HQ IT engineers with network and server troubleshooting.
  • Conduct periodic one-on-one and small group training sessions to ensure the successful adoption and ongoing effective use of PATH’s IT solutions, including Office 365, MS Teams, One-Drive, BOX, and SharePoint.
  • Conduct introductory sessions for new staff to familiarize them with IT solutions and policies.
  • Ensure data backups are running reliably and that data is secure.
  • Maintain staff PCs and printers.
  • Keep the supervisor fully informed daily of all IT problems and advise on what steps are being taken to resolve any problems.
  • Convene quarterly meetings to brief the supervisor, discuss any performance issues and provide information and feedback concerning IT operations in the project.
  • Use the global helpdesk ticketing system to log all support requests and document them fully.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance of all IT equipment, and supervise the same.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT equipment, both on- and off-site.
  • Liaise with the ISP to ensure continued availability of the Internet.
  • Any other IT-related assignment as determined by the Lead, Regional Systems Administrator or Site Admin.
