  • TSC certification and a relevant degree in Education.
  • Atleast 2 years teaching experience
  • Must be a practising Catholic who embraces the teachings of the Catholic church.
  • Flexible and open to change - you handle uncertainity and complexity well.


Responsibilities
  • To teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the Head of school.
  • Delivers exceptional,real world, enquiry based Bio;ogy and Chemistry lessons that align with the Cambridge curriculum.
  • Contributes to and shares responsibility for the realization of the vision and philosophy of the school.
  • Demonstrates and promotes the positive values, attitudes and behaviors that are expected from all members of staff
  • Is aware of and works within the school's policies and framework relating to teachers’ responsibilities.
  • Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students and maintains an organized and focused learning environment.
  • Infuses joy and passion for learning in lessons so that students are excited and interested in their academic excellence.
  • Be accountable for students' mastery of content and academic standards.
  • Maintains positive, constructive and professional relationship with students, their families and colleagues.
