Qualifications

  1. M.Sc. Architect, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer
  2. B.Sc. Architect, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer with minimum 2 years of experience in the built environment
  3. Experience in construction supervision, especially:

    oHealth facility construction or renovation

    o Water, sanitation & hygiene systems (WASH)

    o Structural integrity assessment

    o Rural or community-based project

  4. Overall, a minimum of three years’ professional experience in the civil engineering construction field is required.
  5. Experience in managing PHCs construction/rehabilitation projects would have added advantages.
  6. Experience in community dialogue, ability to work at the community level, and ability to speak the local language
  7. Teamwork and negotiation skills on project development issues at the community level
  8. Excellent presentation skills, both in terms of written and oral communication.
Responsibilities
  1. Conduct daily visits to assigned PHCs to monitor ongoing construction and revitalization activities.
  2. Ensure construction work progresses according to approved plans, quality standards, and timelines.
  3. Identify and promptly report any delays, issues, or deviations to the project management team.
  4. Maintain accurate daily records of site visits, observations, and progress updates.
  5. Liaise with contractors and PHC staff to address on-site concerns and report them according to the established hierarchy.
  6. Provide timely feedback and recommendations to the project team to improve implementation efficiency.
