Description
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Paralegal to join our Property Tax Litigation practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organized, process-driven legal work and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll support the team by handling standardized legal tasks using established templates and SOPs, helping ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely filings across all matters.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Central Time)
- One-hour lunch break
- 1+ year of experience as a Paralegal or in a legal support role within a U.S. law firm
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Comfort working with templated legal documents and structured workflows
- Proven ability to manage volume-driven work and meet deadlines
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow established processes consistently

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review property tax petitions and related legal documents using approved templates
- Verify accuracy of party information, case details, and filing data
- Manage a high volume of cases while meeting strict statutory deadlines
- Assist with discovery preparation and responses following standardized processes
- Follow internal SOPs and workflows with consistency and attention to detail
- Upload, organize, and maintain case files in the firm’s case management system
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on document review, finalization, and filing
- Proactively escalate issues, errors, or potential deadline risks when identified
