Description
- 2–3 years of experience operating a HIAB or similar lorry-mounted crane (compulsory).
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for heavy-duty vehicles.
- Strong understanding of crane operation and load safety procedure.
- Good knowledge of Lagos routes and traffic regulations.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
Responsibilities
- Operate HIAB (lorry-mounted) cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials safely.
- Drive heavy goods vehicles (HGV) to transport materials to and from project sites.
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage or accidents during transit.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and crane equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report any mechanical faults promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and vehicle logs.
- Coordinate with site personnel to ensure efficient loading and offloading operations.
