- 1 year experience in consumer lending, microfinance, banking, or financial services.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of credit analysis and loan processing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic financial systems is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Market and sell consumer loan products to individuals and small businesses.
- Identify prospective customers through field visits, referrals, and marketing activities.
- Interview applicants to understand financial needs and recommend suitable loan products.
- Collect and verify customer documentation for loan applications.
- Conduct preliminary credit assessments and support risk evaluation processes.
- Prepare and submit loan applications for approval in line with company procedures.
- Follow up on approved loans to ensure timely disbursement.
- Monitor loan repayments and support recovery efforts where necessary.
- Maintain accurate customer records and loan documentation.
- Ensure compliance with lending policies, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
