Requirements for Appointment:

• Be a Kenyan citizen (attach ID).
  
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Irrigation Engineering, Hydrology & Water Resources Management, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or any other related field.
  
• Possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  
• Relevant working experience of a minimum of ten (10) years in the private sector or served in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for a minimum period of seven (7) years.
  
• Must have attended a Senior Management Course in a recognized institution for not less than four (4) weeks, which will be an added advantage.
  
• Demonstrate a high degree of administrative capability, technical and professional competence as reflected in work performance and results.
  
• Good public relations and resource mobilization skills.
  
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on leadership and integrity.
