  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in M&E, Research, Statistics, Social sciences, or a related  field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis software 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex  information clearly and concisely. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, with a demonstrated  commitment to collaboration and mutual support. 
  • Demonstrated interest in youth development, governance, and social justice issues.
  • Prior experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, or data management is desirable  but not required. 
  • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks, methodologies, and tools is an  asset.

Youth Agenda is looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Intern who is expected to provide M&E support to the Organisation. The intern will have the following main duties:

  • Support the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for  YAA programs and projects. 
  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting activities, including surveys, interviews,  and focus group discussions. 
  • Support the development of data collection tools, including questionnaires, interview  guides, and data entry templates. 
  • Support the management of databases and data repositories, ensuring data integrity and  security. 
  • Collaborate with program teams to track project progress, identify challenges, and develop  recommendations for program improvement. 
  • Assist in the preparation of monitoring and evaluation reports, summaries, and  presentations for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Participate in monitoring and evaluation capacity-building activities for YAA staff and  partners. 
  • Contribute to knowledge management and learning initiatives within the organization,  including the documentation of best practices and lessons learned.
