JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Economics, Finance, actuarial science, statistics, computer science or related field from a recognized accredited university.
  • Post Graduate degree or progressive educational certificate in data analytics, statistics, or a related field will be an added advantage.

Desired work experience:

  • At least five (5) years' relevant work experience.

  • Credit analysis skills in SME or Corporate Banking units
  • Financial analysis skills for Corporate or SME businesses.
  • Relational databases such as Oracle, SQL queries

  • Project management
  • Data and financial analytics in mobile money payments or lending platform support.
  • Risk management
  • Planning and managing numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.

The Business Analyst - Ecosystem Business serves as a pivotal support role within LOOP, assisting the Ecosystems Head and CCO's office in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with LOOP's overarching goals. Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including strategy development and execution, sales enhancement, portfolio and market analysis, and performance oversight. Additionally, the role plays a crucial function in project management, ensuring the efficient implementation of strategic initiatives within the Ecosystem Business Unit.

Key aspects of the role involve collaborating with senior leadership to guide strategic direction, develop target markets, and devise growth and profitability strategies in line with LOOP's capital allocation and revenue targets. The Business Analyst also provides direct support to the Ecosystem Team by generating analytical reports for business analysis and performance assessment, contributing to informed decision-making processes. Overall, the Business Analyst - Ecosystem Business plays an essential role in driving growth and facilitating strategic decision-making within the Ecosystem Business Unit at LOOP.
