Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Cleaners are responsible for maintaining hygiene by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming assigned areas.
- They must perform specialized cleaning in areas like hostels, laboratories, and halls.
- Waste disposal, disinfecting toilets, and maintaining cleaning equipment are key tasks.
- They should address hazards promptly and support organization policies on waste management and safety.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
- Candidates need KCSE with one year or KCPE with two years of cleaning experience.
- Experience in housekeeping is an added advantage.
- Essential qualities include teamwork, good communication, integrity, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
- Candidates must pass background and drug screening checks.
