Requirements must be clearly stated and defined.
  • Define and Design systems Architecture for core insurance application and interfacing systems.
  • Create project plan from conception to execution and assign reasonable timelines as agreed with the business
  • Develop solutions appropriate to customer requirements making sure it is fit for purpose
  • Integrate new solutions to existing core Insurance application with proper handshake between/among systems
  • Integrate solutions with 3rd party systems where required
  • Ensure both internal and external integrations are in line with the IT security and compliance guidelines
  • Create and Define test scenarios for every process on the delivered solution
  • Unit and Integration testing for Software Development
  • Conduct Internal Acceptance Tests (IAT) within IT
  • Conduct User Acceptance Tests (UAT) with customers to make sure solutions meet their requirements and needs
  • Confirm Customer satisfaction upon project completion
  • Carry out Regular Operations and Maintenance on the core insurance application and all interfacing applications.
  • Maintain 99.9% Server and Service Uptime
  • Report on Key Performance Areas on daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Provide relevant reports and build scripts were necessary.
  • Attend to incidents and escalations raised by the Business in line with Service Level Agreements
  • Document helpdesk requests and solutions as it relates to Enterprise applications (GIBS)
  • Create and maintain properly documented materials pertaining to every developed solution for Business Continuity
  • Update documents when changes and upgrades are made.
  • Build customized reports.
