Qualifications & Academic Background

  • A University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Education (B.Sc. Ed).
  • A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) majoring in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Biology, provided the candidate demonstrates high technical aptitude.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent professional credentials is an added advantage.
  • A recognized Certificate in Training or documented experience in facilitating technical workshops and staff development.
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience in training, education technology, IT support, school programs, or project implementation
Responsibilities
1. Planning, Budgeting & Reporting Prepare weekly and termly work plans. Develop activity budgets and manage approved funds responsibly. Submit weekly and end-of-term reports on time. Escalate major issues promptly to the supervisor.

2. School Implementation Support Train teachers, students, and school champions on use of the software. Ensure schools have the right environment for software use (power, timetable, lab access, etc.). Monitor progress and help solve implementation challenges. Conduct regular visits to assigned schools.

3. Training & Capacity Building Organize and conduct user training sessions and workshops. Prepare training materials and venue setup. Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain records. Recommend improvements for future trainings.

4. Technical Support Troubleshoot minor hardware and software issues. Maintain records of equipment and software in schools. Escalate unresolved technical issues. Recommend upgrades and repairs where necessary.

5. Monitoring & Evaluation Collect school data and usage reports. Monitor student performance and software usage trends. Support assessment and reporting systems.

6. Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with school administrators, teachers, and education officials. Promote positive attitudes toward digital learning. Represent CSTS professionally at all times.

7. Marketing Support Identify potential new client schools. Assist with product demonstrations when assigned.

8. Other Duties Perform any other official duties assigned by management.
