Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, presentable, and results-driven Merchandiser to promote and sell wine products in Mombasa. Candidates must either reside in Mombasa or be willing to relocate.
The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, marketing, or business development and will play a key role in driving product visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales, merchandising, marketing, business development, or customer care (experience in wines/beverages is an added advantage)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Presentable, confident, and customer-focused
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets
  • Must be residing in Mombasa or willing to relocate

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell wine products to retail outlets, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, and bars
  • Ensure attractive product displays and proper merchandising in assigned outlets
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow market presence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key accounts
  • Execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve set targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle client inquiries professionally
  • Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and minimize stock-outs
  • Conduct market research and provide feedback on trends, competitors, and customer preferences
  • Support promotional campaigns, activations, and product tastings
