Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 4 years relevant experience - Sales and Marketing in Insurance industry.
  • 2 years of experience of supervision in Insurance industry.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field.
  • A Certificate in Insurance.

Required Skills:

  • Good negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship skills.
  • Demonstrate confidence and a good sales acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for GA product sales through lead generation, prospecting, sales conversion, cross-selling and retention of existing insurance sales.
  • To ensure that all agents operate in total compliance with set operation procedure.
  • Offer guidance to the policyholders, claimants, beneficiaries, complainants while complying with the requirements for settlement of claims by the Insurer.
  • To ensure that all production reports especially returns are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Work with Insurance partners to develop and track sales and incentive programs to drive sales behavior.
  • To ensure growth of outlets by recommending establishment of new offices in profitable areas.
  • Keep track of client renewals (prepare renewal notices, communicating with insurers on any amendments or enhancements).
  • You will enforce a renewal program for 3rd party clients and other policy holders at the branch/outlets eg through the use of an SMS Program. This means that mobile telephone numbers have to be recorded at the branch level.
  • You will ensure that all outlets within your area are branded in accordance to agreed company standards.
  • In charge of recruitment, Training and monitoring of agency force performance in liaison with marketing manager.
