Description

Qualifications/Requirements

▪ Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery from a recognized university

(MBChB or MBBS)

▪ Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and

Dentists Council

▪ At least one (1) year internship experience in either a public or private

hospital.

▪ Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support

(ACLS)

▪ Knowledge of healthcare policies, documentation, and reporting

procedures.

▪ Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information

Systems).

Desirable competencies

▪ Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.

▪ Knowledge of the laws of Kenya, regulations, guidelines, and health

schemes.

▪ Good report writing skills.

▪ Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff,

patients, and other stakeholders.
