Description

We are seeking a Payroll Tax Associate to join our team and support key federal and state tax compliance functions within the PEO industry. This role is ideal for someone detail‑oriented, analytical, and committed to delivering exceptional client service in a fast‑paced environment.

✨ Key Responsibilities

  • Research legal issues, risks, solutions, and filing positions to ensure compliance with local, federal, and international tax laws.
  • Collaborate with internal departments on new projects or business activities to ensure proper tax liability coverage.
  • Assist with auditing all corporate tax payments.
  • Process payroll tax payments and tax returns, including reconciliation activities.
  • Verify data accuracy to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze and resolve tax notices and discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Deliver high‑quality customer service to clients, addressing payroll tax questions and requests.


Responsibilities

Experience & Certification

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Payroll, Tax, or any related field.
  • FPC certification preferred (Fundamental Payroll Certification).

Skills & Competencies

  • Results‑oriented with the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and client support.
