- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Registered with the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB);
- Current valid annual Practicing license from the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya;
- Corporate membership with the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK)
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Responsibilities
Requirements for the appointment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Registered with the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB);
- Current valid annual Practicing license from the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya;
- Corporate membership with the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK)
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
- Assist in ensuring implementation of Road construction works to standards
- Preparing and modification of reports, specification, plans construction schedules, environmental impact studies and design of the projects.
- Assist in preparing authorization for charge orders regarding construction revision
- Assist in implementing the county plans and strategies on road construction.
- Assist in developing standards for road designs
- Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Assist in monitoring construction progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications and construction safety standards.
- Any other duty assigned by the supervisor
